You are a traveler, making your way through Copperstar. Until a storm rolls in, rain plastering to your cloak and thunder pounding in the sky. You duck into the nearest tavern for shelter:

The Spotted Raven.

It's not as lively as it once was, with recent monster attacks in the surrounding area having severely cut down on travelers. It is set to close at the end of the month, and you have come in during what seems to be a "last hurrah" of the regular patrons. The barkeep welcomes you with a warm grin, but asks a favor of you. Producing a citrine ring, cast in gold, from his pocket, he asks you to be an impartial judge of who gets to carry the tavern's legacy.
